Hacienda de los Santos Hotel — We are staying here till tommorow when we begin our overland route. This is a 5 star Hotel. Outstanding in every way. Highly recommend it..! But we will be back in the tent tommorow..

We made it. The border was fairly smooth. Had trouble with one trucks documents for the import. So they used word and a printer int the truck to make up the doc’s they needed. 1hr later we were all officially imported.

 We are enroute on our 2009 expedition of Central America. Our plans are to visit Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. During these explorations we will visit many exciting places, including rarely seen Mayan ruins, Volcanos, Beach’s and parts of the Camel Trophy Tour. We will also visit the famed Darien Gap, the southern most place you can drive in Central America.
